In 2016, Evansville Esports is seeking to sponsor a team of 6 (2 alternates) players to participate in a major city CoD: BO3 tournament. This will be within the proximity of Chicago,, Cincinnati, Nashville, and St. Louis. We hope to sponsor a team that identifies with our love of competitive esports and displays the highest level of sportsmanship, talent, community and competitiveness.
We acknowledge education as being one of the determining factors for many of our players future success in life. Several of our clients who currently attend Monday Night Mash-Ups are 15+. Here are specific requirements to potential applicants still in high school:
Must maintain a 3.0 GPA (out of 4.0 scales).
Must be active in at least one extracurricular activity in school (NOT including esports).
Parents/legal guardian and the student must sign a parent-to-student contract. This contract will state all guidelines, times of play, hours of commitment, etc. This MOU will demonstrate the desire that Evansville Esports has for communication on the homefront.
*NOTE: You will be expected to also fulfill the following guidelines as well.
General Guidelines:
Attendance and creating camaraderie amongst the team is essential to optimum efficiency:
Attend a minimum of two (2) Monday Night Mash-Ups a month @ EE
Participate in Ranked, Clan online play a minimum of one night a week
Bring your own controller (if applicable)
Wear like color-shirts for team play (this is for broadcasting reasons, colors will be announced earlier in the week on the EE Facebook page)
On-time for events
More than three lates equals team probation and loss of spot if in Top 6
Arrive fifteen (15) minutes early for all events
Must join [3ESP] Clan on Xbox Live (if you don't have an account, sign up for one)
Code of Conduct:
It is vital we conduct ourselves at all times at the highest level of integrity. We expect all players to not participate in any activities outside of the team that would bring any negativity.
If you display any disrespect, you will be benched for a minimum of two weeks, increasing in duration twice. After third offense you will be banned from the team and/or the clan. Additionally, you will face whatever consequences Evansville Esports sees fit (if occurrence happens at the EE venue).
This includes:
No disrespectful behavior towards your teammates or competitors
No tea-bagging in-game
No explicit language (online, tournament, @ EE)
No rage-bursts, chair-throwing, etc.
These rules ARE subject to change. Evansville Esports' only participation is providing entrance fee for team and providing space/equipment for the team to play. EE LLC. is NOT liable for any responsibility for anything team/clan related.
